If Spore requires Pixel Shader 2.0 and my laptop doesn't have it, will it still run?

my specifications are:

Windows XP pro 2002 SP3

Dell Latitude E4300

Intel core2 duo cpu

P9400 @ 2.4 GHz

790 MHz, 1.95 GB of ramIf Spore requires Pixel Shader 2.0 and my laptop doesn't have it, will it still run?
I would say it should still work if you play on lower graphic settings. I know i played it on my laptop which is a core 2 duo 1.66ghz and it worked on lowest graphics settings.If Spore requires Pixel Shader 2.0 and my laptop doesn't have it, will it still run?
No it is not required!! I play Spore on my laptop wich has the intel mobil 965 express, which DOES NOT feature pixel shader 2.0. I set the graphics around midway and it runs great
