i need an upgrade anyhow, i'm not just spending 2,500 dollars on one game, but i want a desktop computer that can run Spore completely fine and other games.
i don't do work stuff or anything else on the computer, just AIM and websites and such so anything else i don't need if i have to spend more money on it
i was going to see a dell person or something like Geek Squad or one of those computer specialists but i thought i should ask Yahoo answers first=P
thanks for reading and helping me, as im not all that good with computer specs and all that good stuff. What type of computer should i get for the game Spore to run to the best of its ability? $2,500 budget?
With that kind of budget you can get a great gaming rig. You can go to CyberPower PC - http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/, and choose one of the Intel Desktop %26gt; High Performance Gaming PC %26gt; Gamer Infinity XLC. This will save you some money to spend on lots of games, and still give you a blistering PC for gaming. Or you can customize to give even faster performance. Do this customization:
Processor: (Quad-Core)Intel庐 Core鈩?2 Quad Q9450 @ 2.66GHz 1333FSB 12MB L2 Cache 64-bit
LCD Monitor: 22" TFT Active Matrix LCD Display (choose an option)What type of computer should i get for the game Spore to run to the best of its ability? $2,500 budget?
you should build your own...I build PC's for a Living and your machine could be outrageously fast for 2500 but not as good if you buy from dell or the likes...If you interested in advice for building your own or would like me to put you in contact with a custom PC builder so that you could save some money and get a better pc email me some info on what location generally your in...so i can recommend a builder or a private email so ican send you a product purchase list of my suggestions to get you started on building. good luck. What type of computer should i get for the game Spore to run to the best of its ability? $2,500 budget?
2,500 will get you top-of-the line and you'd be able to play Crysis at 60+ fps even..
you could spend $1k on dual 9800GX2's for quad-SLI, then spend $1500 on the rest, you'll have money to spare for a monitor also..
intel c2d e8400 - $199
4GB OCZ Reaper - $140
EVGA 780i ultra - $250-299
PC Power and Cooling 750W power supply - $160
pick out a hard drive, case, dvd drive / blu - ray and that should be less than $1k, leaving you enough money for a decent 22" or even 24" monitor and anything else you want.
