Would a macbook run the mac version of sims 2 without freezing?

I am thinking about getting a macbook but i cannot afford the new one. So i was wondering if the old white macbook would be able to run the mac versions of sims 2 and spore smoothly.

Here are the specs:

13" White Macbook

2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

2GB Ram (expandable to 4)

160GB Hard Drive

Intel Graphics Card

PLEASE HELP!Would a macbook run the mac version of sims 2 without freezing?
Sims 2 will run fine (and does on my wife's MacBook). Spore will only work if your MacBook has the x3100 graphics processor. You can check this under:

Apple Menu %26gt; About This Mac %26gt; More Info %26gt; Graphics/Displays

Should say Intel GMA X3100 or Intel GMA 950 (which isn't fast enough)

I'm pretty sure that all the 2.4 GHz MacBooks have the X3100 but you should check to be sure.
Isn't there a Mac Version of Sims2?

Anyway, it should run, but graphics will be a problem. See, the Intel Graphics Card isn't much at all. No offense meant.

You can always just lower the visual settings, and disable picture in picture. That should speed it up a bit.Would a macbook run the mac version of sims 2 without freezing?

It can run the Sims 2, but it can't run Spore.

Mac's aren't meant for gaming.
