Just checked the Min specs for Spore.

Its asking for a 2ghz P4, I think the Celeron may pull it off, Celeron isn't really known for its amazing processing power when it comes to games.

canyourunit said you couldn't maybe because your system failed on one requirement, I know what you mean. my CPU fails most cases but it runs fine. Can i play spore with this processor: Celeron(R) Dual-Core CPU T3500 @ 2.10GHz?
can you borrow the game to try it?

there is a lot more to how a game will run than just the CPU power.

from past experience, celeron's were brilliant for windows and apps such as office but 'hated' games.

just for the hell of it, i tried 'canyourunit' and my pc passed with flying colours for crysis and spore.

that is with AMD dual core @3.0g, 4gig DDR3 ram 1gig nvidia pci-e DDR3 graphics
