at 5 years old you would need to virtually rebuild the thing to play current games:
New CPU, new motherboard, new ram, new video card.
You could always try adding more RAM and a better AGP video card - but I think you would still be disappointed. Save your dough and put it towards a new computer.
If it is a laptop there is no way to change the video card. The video chips on 99.9% of laptops is soldered right onto the motherboard.
Time for a new laptop.I hav a 5 yr old time computer %26amp; it wont run spore cos gaphics card not big enough, is there any way 2 upgrade?
Yeah, you'll need at least a 12 foot long graphics card to be able to run Spore. I suppose your current one isn't "big enough."
In Columbus, Ohio- There's a Lap Top guy who sells Laptops from $399 (not including taxes I'm sure)I hav a 5 yr old time computer %26amp; it wont run spore cos gaphics card not big enough, is there any way 2 upgrade?
i have a desktop pc cpu athlon xp 3200, gainward golden sample 7800gs 512mb AGP which really is a 7900 limited edition gpu and 1 gig of pc3200 ram that runs spore infact my 6600gt agp runs spore fine and my sisters laptop with a 7200 onboard runs it fine so try ebay for the best agp card that you can afford 6600 and above the 7800(7900) was the last agp card nvidia release but ati have a 3870 agp(DX10) card but this may be to expensive
