Does my computer meet the requirements to use Spore game?
I have an Asus F3E with CPU Duo T8300@2,4GHz.
RAM is 3Gb.
I think my video card is a Mobile Intel (R)965 Express Chipset Family. Can I play Spore with it?

Will spore play on a desktop with gma x4500hd?

If it says Spore will play on Intel's GMA950 and upwards, expect the X4500HD to outperform the previous models. However, keep in mind that the graphics chips you mentioned are integrated so it will play at decent frame rates only at very low resolutions and with settings tuned down severely, as they are NOT designed for gaming. If you're going to buy a computer for gaming I strongly suggest you go for a computer with either an Nvidia or an ATI graphics card rather than choosing a computer which uses an integrated graphics chip. If you need a suggestion for a PC let me know by emailing me.

Due to the processor, i would say that it would but you may want to download the free demo, creature creator and test it out. if it's laggy it won't work well in the full game

You will be able to run spore in 1.6 GHZ but you need to have good graphic card for it.
First of all check is 2.0 GHZ is the minimum or recommended requirments for a particular game.
If it is minimum then you will have many problems playing the game and if it recommended then you can go for that game.

I bought a spore creatures game a couple months ago, beat it in 2 days, and just found it under my bed. NO, the processor clock speeds are a Physical part of your system, not software...

I bought a GeForce 8400 GS with 512 MB, and it's been playing most of my games on high graphics. I know this is a low-end card, but the games I play are not graphics intensive. no, sorry, the game don't have huge graphics req, but the procedural nature of the game is very taxing on CPU, generally 2.5 to 3 is a optimum processor speed. mine is a dual-core 3.0Ghz and it run fine

The game isn't even out worldwide yet, it's a little early to think about expansion packs.
Personally I doubt it. The game feels more like Sim Earth and Sim City than The Sims, and most of those games only had 1 expansion pack if they had any at all.
Expansion pack talk won't start until Maxis gets a good handle on what players want to see from the game.

Playing spore and I get a 2" black border around the screen?
I got spore way back in 09 and i just felt like starting it up today so when I do the screen is out of proportion when compared to the screen size. This hasn't happened on this game before and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do about it.
BTW: I have windows 7 if that effects anything. And I've tried when you hold Fn and go to zoom out.

I'm stuck between 2 games. Which is better, Star Wars: the force unleashed or Spore?
In Star Wars, the game is very controlled and scripted, and once you've finished with the storyline once, you are pretty much done with the entire game. Still, it's pretty exciting and challenging, especially when you get to play with Yoda;D. But really, the fight sequences are amazing, especially at the end.
I haven't tried Spore yet, to be honest, but my friends tell me that the gameplay varies and is always new and exciting. The graphics are a million times better, and you are in more control of your character: what you want it to look like, be able to do, its reactions... Plus the game is much longer.
But you aren't usually threatened with death by lightsaber, if you know what I mean. I've heard its fun and really interesting, but it's not as adrenaline pumping as Star Wars is.
My choice, overall, would be Spore. But if your more into fighting, I would pick Star Wars.
Oh, and also, you can only download Spore three times max. You shouldn't need to download more than that, unless you want to share with your friends o if your computer crashes a lot.

Should i get spore or mercenaries 2?

My Gateway runs at 1.60Ghz w/ 1.99 GB of RAM an want to run the game Spore at all high settings. The CPU for Spore is:

The most important hardware on your lap top you did not mention and that is the video card. If you have built into the motherboard video then, no you will not play spore. Besides your lap top has less CPU power than the game demands. However, a powerful enough video card just might get you over the top to be able to play the game. ok i have an inspiron 5305 dell desktop. i have a ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO, I get tons of graphic glitches in sims 2 like 10 i have to change settings all the time my worst one is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNFWsPoKs鈥?/a> yeah that Dx i change it i fix it but its temporary and for spore they have almost the same grapic type as sims3 (yeah i read it so yeah) so when i play spore the ground dissapears and other glitches and my game crashes when i build somthing in spore and it says its my grapic card, so is there a grapic card that i can use for my computer that will suppost the sims 2 sims 3 and spore where i can get the highest grapic settings that the game allows but with the least ammount of grapic glitches. thanks!

Yes it will run them for sure.
I own Sims 2 and Spore and I run them on My Vaio system with 2 meg ram, so you can definitely run them.
2 warnings:
For Sims 2, don't install every expansion, specially seasons that makes it really Slow (even in my desktop computer it takes about 3 Gigabyte of my memory).
For Spore there is no problem with it, you can run it without problem.
For Sims 3 specs, I'm not sure yet because I didn't try it before ;)

Yes it will run them for sure.
I own Sims 2 and Spore and I run them on My Vaio system with 2 meg ram, so you can definitely run them.
2 warnings:
For Sims 2, don't install every expansion, specially seasons that makes it really Slow (even in my desktop computer it takes about 3 Gigabyte of my memory).
For Spore there is no problem with it, you can run it without problem.
For Sims 3 specs, I'm not sure yet because I didn't try it before ;)

It's not like Sims at all. You basically create a species, starting from the cell stage up to the galactic stage where your race is a colonial inter-galactic empire and you need to conquer other planets and stuff. Progress through all stages, which are different and engaging, and ensure that your species survive and make it to the top of the food chain! It's really not like Sims, so you should enjoy it for a while.

Civ 4 vs spore vs DOW 2 and say why such as best graphics, gameplay, replay it ability and funness?
i'd say civ 4 because of how deep it is. u can pick the civ and choose things from the form of government to the religion practiced. plus its got near endless replayability. u can also customize it if u wanna play a short game or long one.

Its asking for a 2ghz P4, I think the Celeron may pull it off, Celeron isn't really known for its amazing processing power when it comes to games.

Fable 2 or Spore which should i chose?

Okay, so I read about the EA promotion for doctor pepper. I got some reusable codes, but when I enter them I only get the option for mass effect 2 stuff. I want mech parts for spore. 2 questions about spore?
1. I was playing spore on my space empire earlier and it was running fine. I closed it, anda few hours later I came back. When I tried to open my space empire, It just shuts down spore and says a problem occured. Why is this happening? How do I fix it?
2. I found my other empire in space while trying to get to the center of the galaxy. If I attack it, does it affect my other save file? Or does it do nothing to it?

good call holding off on downloading, i got it the first day, and now my game is now filled with weaksauce. i think it's safe to start soon though, there's a lot of good ones.

Regarding installation limits, the first person is correct. There are no installation limits on any of the Sims 2 games.
As far as Securom is concerned, the patches do not "fix" the problems caused by Securom. EA started putting Securom on every one of their games sometime in April 2007. The last Sims 2 game that EA released that did not have Securom on it was the Celebrations stuff pack. Every game they released after that had it on it, including The Sims 2 Deluxe, The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life, H%26amp;M Fashion, Teen Style Stuff, Kitchen %26amp; Bath Stuff, Ikea Home Stuff and Mansions %26amp; Gardens.
